The 100 Yard Club was born out of the Anchor Bowmen, a long standing Target Archery club in Scunthorpe, and has quickly grown as a Field Archery Club with members from all ages ranging from beginners to experienced archers.
We have a field course of 18 targets permanently set out to enable members to use
the facilities in a safe and friendly woodland setting. The targets are set at ranges
from 5 yards to 60 yards and are periodically changed to give more variety.
Despite
being a relatively new club, some of our members compete at the highest level in
National competitions, and all members compete on a regular basis in open competitions.
Our club is run in a friendly, open and safe atmosphere. We welcome new members of all abilities. The club is a member of the National Field Archery Society (NFAS) which provides our public and employer’s liability insurance; a calendar of events, Safety Rules and Guidelines; 3 annual national championships in addition to coaching courses.
